NEWSLETTER, FEBRUARY 2005

Hi to all our friends and family. We are at it again...yup we sold the ranch in Bly, Oregon and bought one in Corning, CA. Our new place is less than an hour north of Sacramento and directly south of Red Bluff. Oregon winters would not allow us to keep our standards for our training program or our facility. If you've visited our training center, you know how concerned we are about stall and barn conditions and the general conditions regarding the horses comfort. Mud and snow make those standards virtually impossible to maintain. Our new center is set up with training efficiency in mind. Large covered stalls, 60 foot round pen and a 150X240 event arena. Add in the pastures, cow pen and small galliping track and you have the new Circle S Ranch.

We are no longer associated with Nathan Taylor or Kanisku Morgan Horses.

We have 3 young registered horses for sale. They were picked for their abilities, conformation, attitude and looks to be future hackamore horses.

We enjoyed hearing from folks who saw us on Horsecity.TV and on RFDTV and heard my interview on sindicated radio host Rick Lamb Show.

We are working on conducting a monthly training clinic at our new ranch as well as a selected ranch in Southern California. We will offer training to ten horses per month, private and group lessons, ranch sorting training and events.

Laurie and I are excited about the move. Our friends and neighbors in Bly will be missed but will continue to be a large part of our lives.

Our family is growing by one. My daughter Courtney and her husband, Erik are expecting MY grandchild in September. A future reinsman to carry on the tradition of the hackamore in California.

Ride balanced, confident and controlled. RE SMITH
