NEWSLETTER, FEBRUARY 2006
Hi All!
We are almost thru our first winter in Northern California and I am proud to say we are going strong. We only lost 3 days of training due to weather.
We now have clinics in Cotonwood, Hayford and Marin as well as a special program monthly here at the Circle S.
My favorite boot company, Olathe Boots have become a sponsor which excites us all. We have always work their boots and are proud to endorse them.
Laurie has booked clinics in Washington, Oregon, Nevada and California. Still not enough dates for my taste, but a good start for 2006.
Cows are coming to the ranch. We will be training on cattle very soon. Our training program is growing and having cattle here will enhance the training of our client's horses. We will be offering privates, groups and clinics on working cattle on Hackamore horses.
My apprentice Andy Diggs is continuing his lessons regarding the hackamore. His skills are remarkable and getting better each day. He is receiving more responsibility in other aspects of the business. He has several students now and assists me in the clinic arena. Laurie and I feel blessed to have him on board.
If anyone is interested in hosting clinics call Laurie. You need 10 riders, an arena with electricity and we do the rest. Riding with a traditional hackamore does enchance your relationship with your horse. No gadgets, gimmicks - just feel, cues and release.
Ride balanced, confident and controlled. RE Smith
